As far as tutorials go, I don't really have anything for you. I basically just messed around with Bryce until I got something I wanted or liked. The biggest tip I can give for creating ice would be to adjust the amount of 'internal reflections' in the settings. It's been about 3 years since I used Bryce so I don't remember exactly where it's at. The lighting is also very important. Good luck and happy rendering!
